Caesar: Good evening, Tye! Tell us about what you're wearing tonight.
Tye: Well I’m wearing a really formal jacket and trousers, which is pretty extraordinary for me because I only wore t-shirts back in district 10 [he laughs]. But I feel pretty good in this formal set, I feel confident. As you can notice my shoes are pretty “normal”. My stylist wanted me to think about a message I wanted to send to the other tributes about myself. Well, for me it's my shoes. I will fight for my life, with passion, and run till my last breath after or before you. My crown is so pretty! I love it. It kinda express how mysterious and serious can I be. Well, it don't really matches the shoes, but i still love it [he laughs].

What have you thought about the Capitol so far? What's your favorite part?
Oh, I love the Capitol! The shiny plates, the delicious food, oh my god. I love it! It feels so good that I maybe hunted these animals down. As you can guess, my favourite part is food [he laughs].
​
Are you nervous? With this being a Quarter Quell, what are your thoughts on the twist?
Ummm, not really. I think I have a pretty good chance at living, but good luck tp the other tributes! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you if you don't try to kill me. I hope the twist won't be so hard or weird, for me [he laughs].
​
What kind of arena are you hoping for this year?
Definitely a forest, or some place with a lot of plants. I grew up and lived in these areas for my whole life, I would fit in really well.
​
Do you feel prepared? What did you think of your training score? (Tye received a score of 7).
​I feel prepared. I learned a lot in training and from my parents. I can't thank them enough. To be honest, I'm not that happy with my training score. If I felt a bit better on that day, I would have gotten a better mark. Good job to the others, though.
​
Do you think you have what it takes to become a victor? Who are you fighting for?
Yes, I hope so. I watched the others training, and I know their weak points. You can have the all of the weapons in the world, but if a brain can still bring you down, you will die easily. I will fight for my brother and our honor. I will show them that we are worth having in the Haven’s name!

Any shoutouts for anyone back home?
For my brother and my family. Stay strong! I will return home soon. Don't worry!

Thoughts on the other tributes? Have you made any notable friends or enemies?
Everybody has their chance. They all looks very confident and strong. This won't be an easy fight. And yes, I’m in an alliance already! I still need to choose one, because 4 of them asked me to join. I hope I chose the right one.

Any last thoughts before we let you go?
Thank you for having me, Caesar! Living in the Capitol is a dream! I hope I will never wake up!
