Caesar: Good evening, Lina! Tell us about what you're wearing tonight.
Lina: Well tonight I decided to go with a starlight theme mainly of blue and black but I decided to add white, silver, and gold for the moon and the stars that me and my brother use to gaze up at until we would fall asleep at night. Sometimes it would be a whole family thing, but it was usually just our thing to just relax and talk to each other we were like each others vents.

What have you thought about the Capitol so far? What's your favorite part?
The Capitol is kind of overwhelming, but I'm trying to make the most of it while I'm here and I think my top 3 favorite parts of the Capitol are first, the food, because there are so many different varieties and the flavors are just immaculate, nothing like what we ate in my district. Second, the outfits have so many more fabrics and styles to chose from and, of course, third, the scenery from the lights to the rooftops. I've never been on a building more then 2 stories tall before but this is something else, it's amazing how different it is here compared to my district!

Are you nervous? With this being a Quarter Quell, what are your thoughts on the twist?
Honestly, yes I am nervous. These people are all strong and I know that if I want to go home I can't under or overestimate anyone and I just feel like I might get betrayed. I have to say the twist was, well, a twist but this is a Quarter Quell so I didn't know what to expect in the first place.

What kind of arena are you hoping for this year?
One where there are places to hide and one with heaps of plants or a giant lake. I mean, I can hunt, but I have a better knowledge of plants and things in water. I always used to read books about these things and I figured out how to swim when I was little so I'm not afraid to go deep down under.

Do you feel prepared? What did you think of your training score? (Lina received a score of 7).
I think I feel prepared and I'm going to tell you a little secret: I purposely flunked my training score but I tried not to make it obvious, so people wont know what to think about my abilities, or just think of me as an easy target.
​
Do you think you have what it takes to become a victor? Who are you fighting for?
I think I have what it takes if I believe in myself. My brother always used to say that... I just miss him so much, you know, so I will try my best to find away to get back to him [tears are forming in her eyes].
​
Any shoutouts for anyone back home?
For my family and my brother... stay strong and safe for me, please. I wont give up if you don't give up on me and I know you can be brave... and wait for me to come home [tears are rolling down her face].

Thoughts on the other tributes? Have you made any notable friends or enemies?
I have a few allies but I don't really know what anyone thinks of me. I haven't really spoken to anyone, I've just been learning their strengths and weaknesses and there are some strong people who I think don't like me.
​
Any last thoughts before we let you go?
My thoughts are that if I go out, I'm going to go out with a bang, probably not literally but metaphorically. And to my family: I'm sorry if I don't make it, but I will always be thinking of you until the moment I pass.
