Caesar: Good evening, Eliana! Tell us about what you're wearing tonight.
Eliana: Tonight I’m wearing a simple black dress designed by my stylist, we decided to go with something simple by elegant. Its also quite out of my comfort zone. But as ill be turning seventeen during the games we decided that I should be shown in a more grown up light.

What have you thought about the Capitol so far? What's your favorite part?
Honestly I miss my home, the Capitol is glamorous and there are lots of buildings. But I miss the trees and the quiet of my district. However, I will say the food is amazing here, I’ve never had salmon before, it’s definitely my new favourite.
​
Are you nervous? With this being a Quarter Quell, what are your thoughts on the twist?
Well I think it's important to have friends, and I think it's important to be popular, but not too noticeable. I think the twist is… unexpected, but it’ll make for a good show. However I’m not excited to vote for somebody’s death.
​
What kind of arena are you hoping for this year?
I’m hoping for something with lots of trees, I’m quite a skilled climber and so I think that I would be able to play to my strengths.
​
Do you feel prepared? What did you think of your training score? (Eliana received a score of 8).
I don’t think you can ever be ‘prepared’ for the Hunger Games, but I’ve trained as hard as I can and I’m going to do my best. I think my training score was reflective of my talent, I wasn’t expecting a ten, and an eight is still quite high so I’m happy with that.

Do you think you have what it takes to become a victor? Who are you fighting for?
Yes, I do think I could be the victor, I have stamina, and if I survive for a few days I’m sure I’ll have opportunities to build up my strength. I’m fighting for my family, and for my best friend.
​
Any shoutouts for anyone back home?
Yes, Clara, I’m sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye, but I hope your family is well, and I cant wait to see you when I get home, if you need anything please ask my father on my behalf.

Thoughts on the other tributes? Have you made any notable friends or enemies?
I have joined an alliance, and I like everyone in it, I think we’re a very strong team. I think I’m the closest with Kai, I talk to him and trust him the most of everyone I’ve met so far.
​
