What time zone are submissions due in?

Our Gamemakers operate solely on Eastern Standard Time (EST) which is GMT -4.

What is a facecast?

A facecast is the person you imagine as the face of your character / tribute. For example, Juniper Raine's facecast is Emma Watson. Your facecast can be any musician, celebrity, or well-known person but please make sure there are multiple photos of them available online (i.e. no stock images or non-famous people). Please do not submit a photo of yourself.

How do you choose the tributes who get to participate?

All of the usernames of people who submitted tributes are put into a random name picker (https://miniwebtool.com/random-name-picker/) and the first 24 names that are picked are the "reaped" tributes, aka the ones who get to participate in the games.

Do I have to be a Hunger Games account to participate?

No! Any account can enter to become a tribute or become a sponsor.

Will there be prep teams or stylists?

No, we do not plan to add prep teams and stylists for these games. Although it would give more people the opportunity to have a hands-on experience in the games it would take away a lot from the tributes' experience because the challenges prior to the games involve creating outfits and stories for their characters.

What do mentors do and how do I become one?

Mentors are responsible for finding and keeping track of sponsors for their tributes. They need to be in continuous communication with both their tribute and the gamemakers and are also responsible for sending their tribute gifts during the games. It is a big time commitment and we ask that you not apply to be one if you cannot fully dedicate yourself to the job. We open up mentor positions to tributes who weren't reaped first and then after a 24-hour grace period, we open up the remaining positions for the public.
