Training Days
On the training days Flint visited all the weapon stations as it was expected from him since he is a career. When he was on the survival stations he met a couple tributes which he found really interesting, even thought some were from outlier districts, and discretely formed a big alliance with those tributes.
When he was waiting his turn to practice once again with the swords he noticed there was a station that was completely empty and that as long as he could remember, no tributes had approached to in the whole training. He had seen some of his classmates back on one use chakrams before, they were almost noiseless when thrown and were pretty useful on hand to hand combat. He left the sword station and decided to try the chakrams, surprisingly they were pretty easy to use, similar to a mix between a sword and a knife. Flint noticed how some of the Gamemakers were looking at him and he tried to show off a little with the new weapon.
“What do you plan on doing for your private session?” asked his mentor
“I was planning on showing my sword skills”
“Of course you are” said his mentor sarcastically.
“Whats wrong about it?”
“There are other 23 tributes that will also try to show off doing the same thing as you. The Gamemakers watched that the year before, and the year before that and ever since the sessions were introduced. If you are looking to stand out that’s not the best way” Flint's mentor was right, sure all tributes could wield a sword or throw a knife or shoot an arrow, it probably wasn’t interesting anymore for the Gamemakers.

Private Session
Flint was the first tribute to do the private sessions. He was thankful for that because it made the Gamemakers be more attentive. He stood still for a couple minutes, at first he reached for the swords and chakrams but the voice of his mentor echoed in his head.
“What can you do?” Asked one of the Gamemakers.
“Everything, I guess”
“Then show us”
An idea came to his mind, he scanned the room and quickly counted 15 dummies. He grabbed a sword and easily decapitated 6 of the dummies, then he grabbed four chakrams the size of his hand and threw them hitting 4 other dummies on the chest. Flint ran to the surviving station and with a couple branches and some alcohol he got from a first aid kit he lit up 5 dummies that were around. The sprinklers went off and in a matter of seconds Flint and the Gamemakers were soaking wet. “That’s a way to be remembered” said Flint on his head before leaving the room.

Jadette "Jade" Topaz
District 1

Training Days
Jadette focused most of the first day at the plant identification station in training. She knew she had the skills to make a good impression, and it worked. She met Amara Crow from District 9 who also knew how important non-combat training was. Throughout the rest of the day the two of them exchanged tips periodically about survival skills. The next day Jadette was itching to get her hand on a blade, but she couldn’t let herself pick up a sword. She decided to settle for the small blade station to work on her dagger skills. This is where she ran into Ashlynn Reid from district 8. Ashlynn was working on her knife skills when they began exchanging conversation about the difference in the balance of their blades. Later, Jadette decided to introduce Ashlynn to Amara to hopefully create an alliance. After the midday break, Jadette spent time running through hand to hand combat drills which helped to keep her strength up. She noticed another tribute also working on hand to hand. It was Athena Wright from district 2, and she was good. On the last day, Jadette spent the morning making different kinds of traps while observing the rest of the training center. She saw Athena showing Amara some combat moves and wondered if anything would come of it. Sure enough, that afternoon, Jadette joined Amara and Ashlynn at the knife throwing station to talk about adding Athena to the alliance. We agreed, and just in time too, the day was officially over. Jadette had done all she needed to do, and she was happy with her alliance. Training was a success.

Private Session
Once Jadette’s name was called, she walked through the door for her private session. The first thing that caught her eye was the amount of Gamemakers there were on the balcony. There were so many of them, and they were all staring at her. “Jadette Topaz, district 1,” she managed steadily before walking over to grab a sword. With her grip around the hilt Jadette immediately felt more relaxed, more confident. Throughout the demonstration, she paid close attention to her footwork, trusting years of practice to handle the rest. When she was finished, Jadette knew she had done well, but it was up to the Gamemakers to decide how well.

Waverly Aster
District 2

Training Days
On the first day of training, Waverly walked into the Training Center feeling confident. She’d grown up going to the Training Academy back in District 2 every day so getting to step back into a gym felt comforting. She immediately headed for the knife-throwing station, passing by the shurikens and knowing that she was already an expert with those. She was good with knives too, but not the best. She spent most of the morning learning new techniques from the instructor at the knife station before moving to the survival skills station after lunch. The Academy focused heavily on weapons training and less on things like edible plants and fire-starting, but knowing how to do those things could only help her in the arena. Waverly learned knots and different ways to start fires and also practiced identifying edible and poisonous plants. On the second day of training, Waverly went from station to station trying to make friends and allies. She made a number of allies from various districts and was even able to learn some new skills with large weapons, like swords and spears. On the third day Waverly spent the entire morning learning healing and first-aid. She was admittedly nervous about her private session in the afternoon, but being a Career and being well-rounded was sure to get her a high training score.

Private Session
During her private session with the Gamemakers, Waverly decided to show off her skills with ninja stars as well as her newly acquired healing and survival skills. She started by smiling sweetly at the Gamemakers, wanting to make a good first impression, but then immediately walked over to the small selection of shurikens. Picking the smallest ones, a pretty pair of serrated stars, she walked to the moving target range and turned her back to it. She heard the whirr of the motors as the dummy targets began to move toward her and quickly spun, throwing one of the stars and slicing through two of the dummies’ heads at once. She threw the second star at the furthest target and hit it square in the chest, right where the heart would be. She then grabbed a set of throwing knives from a nearby station and threw them at the remaining few targets, hitting each one in the head, heart, or a major artery. Waverly looked up to see the Gamemakers looking mildly impressed but of course, any Career can use weapons. With what little time remained, Waverly walked to the first-aid station and fashioned a tourniquet for one of the dummies she’d downed earlier.

Training Days
Athena walked into the training room on the first day and listened as the training instructor gave the speech about 23 people being dead and only one person being alive as well as no fighting with other tributes. Athena walked around during training, her district partner already had another alliance which didn’t involve her, so she was looking around for tributes that would most likely be a good group to be her alliance. The first half of training she worked more on survival instincts, like what to do if you get injured, what berries are poisonous and which are safe to eat. The second half of training she found herself walking to the throwing knife station in which she decided to improve on her knife throwing skills. She noticed a girl having a bit of trouble while trying to throw a knife. Athena smiled remembering how she used to be in that girl’s spot once. Athena gave the girl a few pointers on how to hit the target better before throwing the knife and hitting the bullseye. Athena introduced herself to the girl in which she returned the favor and introduced herself as Ashlynn Reid from District 8. Ashlynn proposed an alliance in which Athena responded with a maybe. “I’ll have to think about it,” She told the girl before giving her a small smile and went back to throwing knives. On the second day of training, Athena walked into the training room and gave a small smile to Ashlynn Reid. She was still thinking about the proposed alliance. Athena needed one, she would prefer allies in the arena rather than enemies just because she was from District 2. Athena made her way to the survival stations once more the first half of training, making sure she had everything locked someplace in her mind. She looks up to see that Ashlynn is talking to one of the tributes from District Nine and Athena looks back down and continues working on what she was focused on. The second half of training she decided to test her luck against someone in hand to hand combat in which she made her way over and ended up going up against a random tribute. After she finished with hand to hand combat she watched as the District 1 Tribute, Jadette Topaz went after her in which Athena watched with amazement. Once Jadette had finished, Athena walked up to her and complimented her on her skills. She wanted Jadette in her alliance, but wasn’t quite sure if Jadette had one just yet. Jadette smiled at Athena in which she returned the favor and introduced herself. Athena was just about to propose an alliance when suddenly training was over and Jadette excused herself and left the training room. On the third and last day of training, Athena once again walked into the training room and looked around for Jadette. She saw her with Ashlynn talking at the knife throwing station in which she found herself walking over only to make her way pass them and to the weapon’s rack in which she decided to test her aim with a few of the weapons there before heading back to the main area in which she watched the District Nine tribute do hand to hand combat with someone else. Once done, Athena introduced herself and gave the tribute a few pointers in which to improve on her hand to hand combat. The District Nine tribute introduced herself as Amara Crow in which Athena proposed an alliance and Amara said she was in an alliance with Ashlynn and Jadette in which Athena responded with a smile. She found her alliance.

Private Session
Athena made her way into the private session with the gamemakers in which she made her way to the weapon rack in which she picked up a few knives and threw them, they weren’t her weapon of choice but she wasn’t just gonna have one choice for a weapon. In the arena, if her number one weapon gets taken by District 7, she needed to have a backup weapon to use in the arena until it was possible to get an axe in the arena. She then picked up the axe, and swung it around flourishly. She threw the axe at a target in which it then hit the bullseye and she stepped back and smirked slightly at the axe lodged into the target.

Weapon of Choice
Axe, although she is very good with throwing knives as well, knives are her backup weapon.

Training Days
The first day of training, I couldn't breathe. Seeing all those weapons lined up in front of me - and knowing one of them could be used to kill me - well, it was frightening! Instead of getting in straight away with the weapons, I sat by the medical supplies, carefully examining the very things that could save mine or someone else's life. I recognized almost everything but there were a few things I hadn't heard of. While I was at the medical station I also decided to carefully inspect the other tributes - look for their weakness and skill and any other information I could gather about them. A few tributes in particular caught my eye, but I couldn't deal with things like that now, after all, 23 of us would be dead in a few weeks. However, I was soon approached by two groups, both asking for me to be in an alliance with them. One of the groups held my district partner, and that made me lean towards becoming allies with her. The other group was the larger group and seemed friendly enough. They asked me about my daughter. For the rest of the day I focused on my climbing and survival skills, however my mind was focused on choosing my allies. After training, I spoke with my mentor and we eventually agreed I would join the larger group of me, Amaury Cohen, as well as Leo Silver, Meena Flammia, Willow Cresto, Lina Starling, and Aster Shay. Besides, more allies, the higher the chance of survival, right? In the past, a lot of alliances have turned on each other and if it came down to that I wouldn't want to kill my district partner. The group seemed nice and were all very certain about protecting me so I could see my daughter. That almost brought me comfort in these dark times.
The second day of training went by very quickly, I mainly practiced my knife throwing skills and studied the multiple types of knives. I also had my go at the bow, axe, and slingshot however the knife throwing was where I really shined. Once again the boy from 5, Mason, really caught my eye. I had a strong feeling we could have been really great friends if it wasn't for the circumstances. However, I shoved my feelings down and continued studying the different weapons.
The final day of training also went by quite quickly. I spent most of the day studying the plants and foods that could be found in the arena. I also spent a lot of time with my allies, and honestly started to think of them as friends, not just people I would rely on for survival. But before I know what's happening, it's time for my private session.
Private Session
I walk in, sure I look confident on the outside but on the inside I'm a nervous wreck. These people can have a say whether I'm an easy or tough target, whether I should just be killed in the Bloodbath or whether I live a few more days.
"Hi, I'm Indiana Rose from District 3. And I'm here to prove to you I should see my daughter again," I say, the words tumbling out of my mouth before I can process them. But I don't have time to think, the timer's already ticking down by the second. So I walk over to the knife station, ready to throw one at the lifeless dummy on the floor, but instead I do something insane - something crazy, in fact. I stab myself in the hand. I can see the Gamemakers' shocked expressions, obviously thinking I'm on a suicide mission, but I just put my hand up and make my way over to the medical supplies.
I begin talking. "See, a hand injury is very easy to fix with natural supplies," I don't know why I'm taking, perhaps I am on a suicide mission, but the words keep falling out of my mouth and my hands keep working on the blood cut that's already healing from my work. It's a simply cut, one that I could heal very quickly, but the timer is making me panic, so I keep talking. "With a cut like this you can still easily use weapons and even kill if it comes down to it." I say before grabbing a few knives and throwing them directly into the chest of the dummy. My hand is wrapped in a temporary bandage now and should be healed in a few seconds thanks to the natural resources I applied to it. For extra measure I grab the knife that's stuck in the dummy's chest and pretend to slit the throat. 20 seconds left so I begin rambling again. "And if you look closely you'll see that after only 6 or 7 minutes I've managed to heal the cut completely." I peel back the temporary bandage I've made and sure enough, the cut had vanished. And there's my time gone.
"Thank you and may the odds be ever in my favor," I slightly laugh and walk out, finally feeling accomplished.

Helia Bitumen
District 3

Training Days
The first thing Helia knew she had to learn in training was how to fight. Being physically weaker than the other tributes put her at a disadvantage, but she figured she could easily memorize where to hit to do the most damage. Helia spent the day learning at combat stations. She found that she liked keeping a small awl on her during hand-to-hand. Helia dedicated her second day of training to survival skills since she had no experience identifying plants or starting a fire. She spent the day learning tips on how to catch a meal, how to build a concealed shelter, and how to survive the night. Helia knew that memorization came from repetition, so on day three she decided to go through some of the stations she had already visited. Before training was over, she went to the knot tying station. Back in Three, with not much else to do, Helia spent her days tying knots. She would make art or more practical things for her home. This was by far her favorite station. She mastered most of the knots quickly, picking up tricks for catching food… or another tribute. Being one of the most reserved tributes, Helia was unable to make any friends or join any of the fast forming alliances during training.

Private Session
During the private session, Helia chose to go back to the knot tying station and make both a shelter and a trap. She quickly made a twitch-up snare and set it off. She moved on to using the more natural materials at the station to begin weaving a mat that would easily blend in with the surroundings. She made sure to keep the knots tight so it would protect against both sun and precipitation. Before time was called, she leaned her unfinished mat up against a wall and demonstrated its strength by throwing different objects at it.

Training Days
During the three days of training, Kai focused on other skill sets that he was not very experienced with rather than his skills in weaponry. He visited the poisonous and edible plants, knot tying, and fire building stations during the majority of his time. Kai made allies with several others from various different districts.

Private Session
During his private session, Kai wanted to show the Gamemakers his skills with a trident and net, which he has been working with since he was young. He first threw his trident at all of the dummies, piercing them in the abdomen each time. Next, he used the trident and net to catch and drag the the injured mannequins to him from a far distance away. With the mannequins near him, he climbed to the top of a pole with his trident and net. He took one look at their positions, turned to the Gamemakers, showing them his eyes were closed. He threw his net first, trapping the mannequin, and then stabbed the dummy in the chest with his trident. He repeatedly did this, his eyes closed every time. Once he ran out of mannequins, he decided to finish off the session by exhibiting his climbing skills to the Gamemakers. He climbed a pole in only a few seconds, despite him being a decent size. When he reached the top, he back flipped onto a large net and hung from the rope until his time ran out, showing his strength earned from working on the boats back home.

Training Days
Ocean hated to admit it, but she was indeed scared. She didn't want to of course, after all she chose this, but she couldn't help but feel terrified by the thought of possibly being dead in a couple of days. However, she wanted to make sure people would remember her, she was not just some weak girl with a trident, Ocean was a fighter and she sure had some serious skill. During the days of training she tried out many different stations, from edible plats to throwing knives. To even leading how to use an axe! Especially the boy from 5, Mason Banner caught her eye as he was actually friendly and showed her some electrical tips and how to make a fire. In return, she taught him the basics of making a fish hook. They got along quite well and became good friends, despite the situation.

Private Session
As it was time for Ocean’s private session, she knew that she had to prove herself worthy of a high training score. She walked in and picked up the beloved trident, she confidently walked over to the dummies and began to attack them with the trident. The Gamemakers watched in awe as she the trident effortlessly glided through the air and decapitated the dummy. She knew that she had to prove that that wasn’t all she could do, she looked over her shoulder at the fishing station and back at the edible plants. Which one to go to? She finally decided on the edible plants stations which she had quickly mastered the day before, she tapped away at the symbols, holding her breath as she tried to get none wrong. She finally finished in record time, and bowed to the Gamemakers, and walked out the room pleased with herself.

Training Days
Mason Banner knew that he would not kill anyone. It was against everything he believed was right and he already made peace with the fact that he won't be the one walking out of the arena alive. He was calm and tried to make the best out of the situation. Because of this, Mason didn't focus on the weapons station. He was very well aware that he was not the hunter but the prey, so he kept his eyes on the climbing and parkour station. Due to his agile body and fast reflexes, he was able to run the training parkour in a very short amount of time. Apart from this, he worked on his edible plants knowledge, since this was one of his many weak points. Mason Banner was meeting everyone with a positive mood, he talked to almost every other tribute and worked on some smaller stations together, like the trap making. He shared some stories of his district life and got along with most of his future opponents. Mason of course knew that this would not stop the others from killing him, but he liked talking to and learning more of his fellow tributes. The boy agreed to ally with several tributes from various districts, forming a rather big group. He especially bonded with his district partner Loxan, since they have the same home and both did some stations together. Although they were complete opposites regarding their character, they got along very well and grew close over the few days. Mason as well befriended the girl from district 4, Ocean. The two of them had more similarities than they thought and their different skills matched like yin and yang. While she taught him how to make a fish hook and told him the basics of catching fish, he told her how to make a circuit and light a fire.

Private Session
Mason was nervous before he stepped into the room where he'd have his private session. Sure, it wouldn't matter, and a score was just a score after all, but he was also scared he would embarrasse himself. The boy had decided to show the one thing he didn't do during the training days, which was bomb building. Something he had always done back in district five, due to his knowledge of chemics, biology and physics. Mason wanted to show the gamemakers something different, which would not include the use of any weapon or fight. He created a fully electronic trap, an electric circuit to be exact, which was tied to a bomb made out of several chemical ingredients. This entire setup was made to release a gas which would make the person breathing it in unconscious. Mason specifically did not made the gas poisonous. He figured that if he was to build such a bomb, either the others of his alliance would take over the kill or he would just grab the victims supplies and hide away. The Gamemakers even sent in a test subject, which was a trainer, to see if the trap would snap and the gas would work - both did.
In addition to this, Mason had made an antidote, also out of some given liquids. He put some cloth into this mixture and held it in front of his mouth to show that he was now immune to the gas. After that, he ran through a parkour like he did during training, which included some rope climbing, an agility section and some reflex tests. He was able to complete it without almost no mistakes - he tripped one or two times throughout his run.

Weapon of Choice
Mason has no weapons of choice in that way. The only thing which could be considered in this category would be supplies he needs to make the bomb, the trap or an electric circuit. The boy specifically focussed on not being reliant on a deadly weapon, just his physical and chemical skills and knowledge.

Training Days
During the first day of training I focus on learning survival techniques. My favorite part was without a doubt setting traps and recognizing poisonous plants. The second day I tried hand-to-hand combat, I'm really not bad at all, my physique sharpens me a lot. For something it has been worth me to be transporting heavy boxes from one central to another during these years. That day I also returned to the plant recognition stand. The third day I went straight to arms, I trained a little with a mallet, as it made me more familiar; but I also tried swords and I have to admit, I was better than I expected. Finally I took the crossbow, it was the weapon we had hidden at home and it brought back many memories, I put my feelings aside and started training. During these three days I have been gathering with other tributes, especially with Mason, my district partner, he is always happy and I never understand it, but despite how different we are, we form a great team and we get along quite well, he is a good guy.

Private Session
Today is the day of the private sessions and I'm nervous. My turn comes and I know I must act quickly, I go straight to a table full of plants and choose those that I had learned were poisonous and I crush them. Then I take a crossbow and with the poison already prepared I dip the arrows in the liquid. I prepare some mannequins and projections to shoot, and start the show. I shoot and hit the vast majority, I really don't even know exactly what I'm doing, I just know that when I finish all the arrows are on their corresponding targets and I ... I'm not proud, will I be able to act like that in the arena? I never thought of killing anyone but ... maybe I have to. I put the crossbow on a table in anger, this is wrong very wrong. I am so angry that I pick up a mallet from the next table and slam it against the far wall, realizing I made a mistake too late. I look at the judges directly and after a few moments I leave.

Training Days
We enter the training area and I immediately decide that I want to try every station. Our trainer says a few words, and then the 24 of us go to various stations. I decide to do the compulsory exercises first, and then I go to the survival skills stations. Some of these things I already know how to do, but I learn some new things too. I practice on making fires, how to make snares, how to find shelter and other basic yet important stuff. At the end of the day I just check out the different weapons displayed. Now that I’ve practiced my survival skills, I can finally practice on wielding different weapons. Something I’ve wanted to do for a while. So, on this second day that’s exactly what I’ll do. Since I use stakes a lot I feel like I should practice with spears and small knives. They do seem like they’re most like stakes at least. I practice on some targets with spears, and to my surprise I’m actually quite good. I throw some knives too and I’m actually better with knives. I try out a few other weapons too just to get the feel for them, but later I move on to physical activities. For the rest of the day I just exercise, even though I’m probably the most fit tribute in these games. Now that I’ve pretty much done everything, on this final day I’m just going to go back to a few of the stations I feel like I have to practice more on. At the end of the day I feel very good about my training, and I feel quite ready. I’ve also allied myself with a few tributes from various districts.

Private Session
I’m waiting in line for my private session, and as soon as I hear my name I walk to the room. I simply just say my name and district when I’m facing them, and then I start with throwing a few spears and knives. I hit almost every target in the middle and in other places I wanted it to hit, and so far I’m feeling satisfied and very confident. I know that throwing a few spears and knives at a target isn’t going to impress the Gamemakers so much. I try to think of something unexpected to do, and I think I’ve got the perfect idea. I start with taking a few knives and throwing them at an empty wall. After I’ve thrown all the knives, I back up and see exactly what I wanted to make. Letters. I spelled out “refe”, and although it’s not a word I see some Gamemakers starting to understand what I mean with it. Right before I finish, I make some type of trap and put it after the last “e”, and then I throw another knife at it, making it snap and the knife trapped. Now it looks more like a word with a punctuation, and I am truly satisfied. I of course give some cocky looks to the shocked Gamemakers, and then they dismiss me. I feel proud, I’ve made my statement. But I’m worried something bad will come my way and my family’s.

Weapon of Choice
I’ve used stakes these past few years, both at work and in the woods. Spears and knives also work for me, but a stake is my top weapon.

Training Days
On the first day, Amaury starts off at the knot tying station and pretends to be preoccupied with it as he watches the other tributes and mentally assesses them. Due to how unstable and sometimes abusive his aunt tended to be, he learnt how to read people well and to accurately predict people's reactions. He exchanges a few words to Finn Cressy, who looks just as pretty as she did in the parade, whilst spending most of his time away from the weapon training stations and mingling with some other tributes. Before everyone leaves the gymnasium, he approaches Finn Cressy again and talks to her and in the hopes of leaving a good impression on her. The second day sees Amaury being more active and he participates in more of the physical training stations. He also spends a deal of time getting to know to other tributes and forms an alliance with Leo Silver, Meena Flammia, Willow Cresto, Indiana Rose, Lina Starling and Aster Shay. After getting to know these people and finding out about their lives back home, he resolutely decides that these people deserve to win more than himself and vows to do anything to keep them alive. Amaury watches Finn at the throwing knives station and notices her obvious skill and lack of communication with the other tributes. Making his mind up, he approaches her and requests that they visit the hand-to-hand combat and climbing stations and is pleased with her agreement. He takes care in seeing the way she fights and her physical strength and waits until she is climbing back down, but when she reaches the final rung he pulls her down into her arms and kisses her. As everyone begins to leave, he takes notice of Finn's confidence and smiles to himself.
On the third day, Amaury meets up with Finn to practice together at the survival and combat stations and introduces her to his allies. He asks Finn to join and tells her of their abundant survival and medical skills and becomes very happy when she agrees. For the rest of the day their alliance sticks together, talking and strategizing.

Private Session
For his private session, Amaury demonstrates a confident and calm countenance. He decides to showcase his fighting prowess, sparring with trainers and taking down bots in hand to hand combat, using a wide range of melee weapons to display his skills. Before leaving he bows and walks leisurely out of the room.

They started talking about their lives and how they should find more allies. Eventually they allied with -Meena Flammia, Indiana Rose, Amaury Cohen, Lina Starling, Finn Cressy, and Aster Shay. Leo then practiced traps and camouflage. On day 2, Leo started learning throwing knives, hand to hand combat, and spear throwing with his allies. He started off having no clue what he was doing, but by the end of training he was just using weapons like a pro! On day 3, he learned climbing and swimming. When Willow was climbing, he was spotting for her. She fell and Leo caught her in his arms, and then she kissed me! Everyone saw them kiss and they were so embarrassed! He'd never kissed anyone before. Leo and his allies were clearly starting a strong bond, however he knew that in the end, only one of them would live. Leo was hoping that he wouldnt have to kill any of them. He was very proud if himself at the end of training, and he slept very well that night, dreaming of what it would be like when he won the games.

Private Session
Leo walked into his private sessions with a new confidence. First, he went to get some weapons. He picked up throwing knives and a mace. Leo climbed up a pole, resembling a tree, throwing knives at dummies, hitting them in the head. Then he jumped to the next pole, almost falling but catching himself. He threw another knife, this time hitting the dummy in the kneecap. The gamemakers laughed at him, but he kept going. He threw another 3 knives, hitting the dummy exactly in the place where their heart would be every time with perfect aim. The gamemakers were now silent. He then jumped to the last pole, he held on tightly, then released himself, jumping toward a dummy, hitting them over the head with his mace while mid-air. He pulled himself together, looked at the gamemakers and smirked. The gamemakers just looked at him, then started clapping very loudly. He bowed, thanking them for the experience.

Training Days
Ashlynn started training with 3 goals: learn some basic survival skills, train with knives, and find some allies. She wanted to go work on her main weapon, but decided that it might be best to keep it a secret as most people from 8 don’t know how to use a weapon at all. She started the first day with survival skills. She went to the fire starting station first and got really good at making fires, then migrated over to the ropes station and learned how to tie a few basic knots. After the lunch break she decided to head over to knife throwing. She hadn’t had any experience using knives as a weapon, only to cook, but since they were such versatile weapons she decided to try them out. While she was figuring out how to do it, Athena from district 2 came over and helped her out. Ashlynn and Athena worked together on knife throwing for a while and had Ashlynn significantly improved by the end of the day. She asked Athena about an alliance, but she said she was still making up her mind. On the second day Ash decided to start the day out with knives, but this time in more of a combat way. While there she ran into Jadette from 1. They started talking about their weapons as they were working and by the time that the lunch break came, Jadette invited Ashlynn over to come sit with her and Amara from district 9. By the end of that lunch the three of them had formed an alliance. After lunch she separated from her alliance and went to go work at the plant identification station for the rest of the day, where she got surprisingly good at it. When she returned the last day, she decided to spend the first half of her day with more survival skills. She bounced back and forth between ones she had done and ones she hadn’t just so that she at least knew something about all of them. After lunch Ashlynn, Amara, and Jadette went to the knife throwing station. By that point Ash had actually gotten pretty good at it, seeing as she was always able to pick up new skills really quickly. While there her alliance discussed adding Athena, the girl from 2 who had helped her the first day, and it was decided that the 4 of them would be all that were in their alliance. All in all, it was a successful 3 days. She learned how to use a knife, learned some survival skills, and made a powerful alliance.

Private Session
When Ashlynn was called into her private session, she went straight over to the atlatl and the darts that were waiting with it. When they told her she could start, she went over to the targets and hit everywhere she aimed for easily. After all, she had been using it ever since her dad showed her how when she was little just in case she ever got reaped. She knew that it wasn’t a common weapon, so the fact that she could use it very well would hopefully make a good impression. When they dismissed her, she felt pretty confident, surprisingly, and was very interested to know what her score would be.

Weapon of Choice

Training Days
During the training, Meena visited all of the stations. She only spent 30 minutes at the edible plants stations though, since she already knew which were edible, and which could be used for medicines, she didn't feel she needed much time practicing. Instead she used this time practicing snares, since this was her best bet at food and hunting tributes. Meena also formed an allience, with Leo Silver, Willow Cresto, Indiana Rose, Amaury Cohen, Lina Starling, Finn Cressy, and Aster Shay.

Private Session
Before the private session, I was still unsure on what I was going to do.
They called my name, and my stomach flipped - I has never done anything so important in my life! As I walked in, I started sweating, and I knew I had to think of something, fast! I scanned the room, and saw a pile of branches in the corner, and I remembered a game from my district.
When we used to get bored, we would go to the fields, sharpen some sticks, and throw them at paper targets. I thought about using some knives instead, but then I decided the sticks would show more survival skills, so I grab a knife and a handful of branches. I sharpen a pile of sticks, but by the time I'm done the Gamemakers have lost interest, so I know I have to do something about it. I grab the knife I was using, and throw it noisily across the floor, immediately turning all the heads. Now that I have their attention, I grab the sharpened sticks, and walk swiftly over to the targets. I throw the first and it hits the edge of the target and bounces off. I know I have to do something really good to make up for it, so I hold all of the sticks in both hands, and throw them all at the target. They cover the small target, with barely a cm between them, and only 1 misses. Then one of the Gamemakers dismisses me, and I give a small curtsey and leave.
I think I did my best, so I just hope it pays off.

Training Days
During each day of training, Amara focused on the survival stations. She knew how well she could kill with kamas, but she also knew the most likely way to die was from not knowing survival skills. On the last day of training Amara focused on some weapons she didn’t didn’t exactly know much about, like knives, and hand to hand combat. During day one, Amara ran into the girl Jadette from D1, and they immediately clicked. They helped each other all throughout the day, and at the end of the day decided to be allies. On day two Amara was working on camouflage when Jadette brought over the girl from D8, Ashlynn. During the training break Amara sat with Ashlynn and Jadette, and then and there Ashlynn was added to the alliance. On the last day when Amara was training at hand to hand combat, she met the girl Athena, and she helped her train, and along the way they got to know each other. While at knife throwing with Jade and Ashlynn, Amara talked it over with the them, and it was decided that Athena would be the last person in the alliance. And with that, Amara told Athena on the elevator and sighed, as training was over.

Private Session
During the private training session, Amara showed her Kama skills to the judges. As she lined up with the dummies, Amara flipped the kamas in her hands (as she always used two) and went to work. The timer started and immediately Amara slit the first dummies throat. As she turned around in a fast motion, she beheaded the second dummy. This kept going on for a while, until at the end when two dummies came at her, and she threw both of her kamas, each one landing in the heart of each dummy. Since Amara still had 4 minutes left of her 15 minute session, she decided to show the game makers her agility on the course. She proved herself right when she got it done in the four minutes, and with that she walked out of the center, proud of what she had just proved.

Training Days
During the first day of training Tye practiced a lot of shooting with a bow and arrow, while he watched the other tribute’s training, try to remember those tributes, who were strong, or smart, so he could ally with them up, or avoid them in the arena. On the second day he learned a lot about edible and toxic plants that might be in the arena. He also learned how to make fire with a rock and a stick, and how to make clothes, with what might seem to be garbage. Some groups of tributes asked him if he wanted to join them, but he hasn't decided yet which ones he will join in the arena. On the final day, he practiced hand to hand combat with a sword, or bare hands, and how to climb a tree very quickly.

Private Session
During his private session, Tye chose to shoot with a bow and arrow, since he was pretty good at shooting flying birds and other small animals. His arrow landed an inch from the heart of the doll he needed to shoot.

Training Days
I walked into the Training Center for the first time, seeing 23 other tributes, looking as menacing as ever. On the first day, I scoped out my competition, and I talked to that one boy who caught my eye. Amaury is his name. I worked my way through the main survival skills; I’m already pretty confident in those. Taking care of my four other siblings? Not easy, but only having to take care of myself is child's play. Right as we are about to finish up training for day one, Amaury comes over towards me. The boy who winked at me. My heart starts speeding up again as he did in the parade. We exchange a few words, and then we are suddenly shuffled out back to our rooms for dinner. That night, I couldn’t help myself but think of Amaury. I mean, i’d never liked someone before. It’s all been about my family, there would be no time for boys. Ever. Day two, and I feel like I own the training center. I walk in ready to throw some knives. I’ve always been skilled with handling them and swords. You know, i’m from the livestock district. They won’t give us guns to kill the animals, but we can use swords, knives, and spears. As I go and throw knives, hitting every single target, Amaury stands next to me. He asks if after I throw my knives, if we want to do some hand-to-hand combat exercises and climbing. We both do great with taking down the combat station attendants. We then move on to climbing. I’m a little bit better at it since i’m smaller. He waits for me to climb down when he grabs my waist on the final rung and pulls me into a kiss. Everyone just saw us kiss. I’m so ready to take on training tomorrow and hopefully impress the Gamemakers. Here I come, ready to take on the Second Quarter Quell. Day three, the final day of training. I brush up on survival skills one more time, as well as practicing with some spears and swords, just in case knives aren’t available in the arena. Amaury and I stick together, as we also talk to some more tributes. He encourages me to make an alliance with him, Amaury Cohen, as well as Leo Silver, Meena Flammia, Willow Cresto, Indiana Rose, Lina Starling, and Aster Shay. I’m not much of a people person, but if it’s what Amaury wants, it’s what he gets. I have never felt this sort of attraction, and I would do anything to save both of us in these games. We walk around with the rest of our alliance, talking and strategizing. Before we know it, it’s time for our private sessions.

Private Session
I walk in with a confident stride, smiling eerily at the Gamemakers. I say, “Hello. My name is Finn Cressy from District 10. I will be demonstrating my best skills today, and i’m ready to impress you. Thank you so much for your time, in advance.” I walk over to the knives, I slip on my vest that contains 10 knives. I throw the first five at moving targets, nailing every single one within the heart. I then approach the combat area, where you can fight with a bot. I easily take the bot down, and as I am on top of the bot, I begin to tie him up and throw a knife directly at the center of his heart, ‘killing’ the bot instantly. I hear the timer buzz. My time is up, and i’ve demonstrated my strength and knowledge with my preferred weapon: knives. I thank the Gamemakers one last time and walk out of the room: feeling as if I own the world.

Training Days
On the first day of training, Eliana though it would be a good idea to work on her close combat skills. She spent time practicing with the various specialists stationed in the areas, starting first with swords, and then doing the basic hand to hand combat training. She also used some of this day to practice her throwing skills, she dabbled in knifes, spears and axes, but didn’t have enough time to fully perfect them. On the second day of training, Eliana went back to what she had done the day before and practiced again, just to solidify the new skills in her muscle memory. She also had time to try throwing tridents, use a slingshot and try a bit of archery. After lunch, she decided it was time to focus on her wildlife skills, being from 11 and spending a lot of time outside in the orchards, she knew more or less what was safe to eat and what was not, but she spent the rest of the day brushing up on a few things. On the final day of training, Eliana decided against using any of the larger physical stations, knowing the would be the most popular among the other tributes. Instead, she started working on the fire making station, it took about an hour to master the skill, but eventually she was able to help the others she had decided to ally with. Her alliance was quite large, with eight tributes in. she also learnt some new knots from those in her alliance too. Eliana did not try any of the weight lifting, as she knew this would not be beneficial to her, and she couldn’t build up enough strength in just three days.

Private Session
During Eliana's private session, she knew it was time for her to show off what she hadn't been doing during the training sessions: climbing. From a young age, Eliana was one of the best tree climbers in District 11 had, partially due to the fact that she insisted her father allow her to work even though it was unnecessary. Eliana entered the room with confidence, she knew that being one of the last tributes the Gamemakers probably wouldn't be too interested in her. She greeted them with her name and district, and then walked to the climbing area. She took a deep breath and leapt off the ground onto the frame of the climbing net, she silently worked her way up to the top in a matter of seconds. She then tiptoed across the top beam with complete balance, and shimmied back down to the bottom with no sound. She knew this would not be enough to impress the Gamemakers, and so she walked to one of the walls at the side of the gymnasium. She had been studying the walls during training, to see if there were any dents or cracks which she could use during this session. Obviously, because the building was owned by the Capitol, there was very little chance of anything being "run down". However, she had noticed that the wall on the far left, holding the wrestling station (which didn't seem to be used as frequently as the others) seemed a little more unattended to. Eliana ran to the wall, making no sound as she did. She hoped her silence and stealth would win her points with the Gamemakers. Once she was at the wall, she assessed the size of it before beginning to scale it on her hands and feet, she did a lot of free climbing at home and was quite used to it. She was at the top in about two minutes, there was a sort of beam running across the ceiling of the room, which she managed to get on top of and crawl her way to the end, before climbing down the net on the other wall. All of this took her about 12 minutes, and so for the remaining five she walked to a station which contained sickles, something else that was familiar from her district. She walked up to one of the training dummies and with one swift movement sliced its head off. She had been saving what little strength she had for that moment. With that, she was dismissed and left the room, muttering a thank you.

Training Days
On day 1 of training, Auria decided to go to the knives station, she was good at cutting and wielding knives and although in knife throwing her aim wasn’t as good, but she felt satisfied enough. On the second day, Auria helped out a few other tributes who were struggling to make a fire to try and find some allies as her mentor said. After that, Auria went to the hand-to-hand combat station, she wasn’t very big but she was nimble and after a few tries managed to outsmart the trainer. On the final day of training, Auria went to the edible-plant and insects station, it turns out she didn’t need any practice and so she decided to go to the ropes course, she finished it quite quick and managed to do it a few more times before her private session with the Gamemakers.

Private Session
For the private session, auria went on the plant identification area and matched up all the plants with ease, then she took some knives and slashed it in the training dummys body. Next she set up a quick fire and a snare before the gamemakers dismissed her.

Training Days
As I walk into the training room for the first time I look around in awe as I take in all the activities I decide that I will start with my strong points first I walk over to the archery station and I sit down with a bow in my hands carefully feeling all the nooks and getting use to the shape and the feel of the new bow I stand up and sling a pack of arrows over my back and set up the simulation dodging all attacks and hitting every person right in the center of the chest I run through this a few times until I feel like I'm ready I put the bow back and walk over to the plant identification station and run through the different plants with a breeze as I learnt all this back in my district from making different medicines after a while it seemed like the day had slipped through my fingers and I had to leave the training room because my time was up I gazed around the room one last time thinking about tomorrow and with thoughts buzzing through my mind about what I was going to preform. I walk into the training room exited for the day as I immediately begin stretching so I can do the agility corse I I step onto the first podium as I run and leap over the different walls and slide under the different obstacles I wasn't very flexible so I was kind of surprised when I finishes the corse in under a minute on my first try. I figured that was good enough so I decided to go climb one of the trees in the corner or the room. Picking the tallest and hardest to climb one I used my senses to navigate a safe path up the tree when I reach the top I can hear everyone talking some people behind people's backs and some were talking about there strengths and weaknesses to there allies the good thing was no one knew I was listening to them after about half an hour I climbed down from the tree to work on the 3rd station that I wanted to work on today. I walk over to another simulation room and grab a knife. I have never really used one before for this kind of stuff I only ever used these for cutting roots out of the ground for medicines. I figured that if I couldn't get a bow in the games that if I knew how to fight with knives I could also use them for other purposes. I get a firm grip and send it flying towards the target and surprisingly it hits it just outside the center. I practiced this for the last two hours of the day and I finally got the hang of it and hit every target straight in the center. As I walk out I have a million thoughts running through my head but the main thing that I'm thinking about is that I might have a chance to win the games. I walk into the training room nervous for tomorrow but also I figured that whatever happens happens but I know that I will try my best. As I walk in I decide to go to the survival station and practice building fires, traps, water purification, and shelter and learning a few knot tying techniques along the way. After that I walked over to the camouflage station and began etching different biome designs in to my hand. In the end I was so caught up with sketching that it didn't even feel like half the day had been but I thought that whatever happens tomorrow happens and I will show them all my skill that I can and prove to them I can be there victor

Private Session
I walk in and do a bow as they nod there heads for me to start I grab a pack of arrows and sling them and a bow over my shoulder I felt more balanced and comfortable with them on my back for some reason. I run over and grab a piece or rope and walk over to the tallest tree using my senses I pick a safe way up the tree being careful to put my hands and feet in the right places so not to slip I climb right to the top and hoist myself up onto the ceiling beams with ease, I make sure the rope dangles down I tie 2 firm knots than I climb down from the trees and ask the Gamemakers the shoot some things at me to test my agility when they started to shoot at me I forward rolled and shot an arrow into each of the targets I was running out of time so i decided to multi task I quickly build a small shelter and a fire out of the same materials and in the last I run over to the plant identification and in the last 10 seconds I am able to sort all the different types of plants. I bow as I walk out I cant help but think to myself that it went perfectly according to plan and I was very pleased with myself.

Training Days
On the first day I wanted to learn some new things so I went to the fire building station because that seemed very important to survive. My mentor told me to find allies so while I went to the stations, I looked at all the tributes. They looked so strong and mean. I saw the boy tribute, Leo, from District 8. He looked kind and sweet, so I walked up to him and asked if he wanted to be allies. He agreed, so we started talking. He is an amazing person, I think I caught feelings. I then said we need more allies. Soon we had Meena Flammia, Indiana Rose, Lina Starling, Amaury Cohen, Finn Cressy, and Aster Shay as our allies. On day two I decided to practice more archery and was able to get pretty okay at it. I then did some combat. My allies are pretty strong so I needed to get better. After an hour I felt pretty confident. I then decided to do knots. I am actually very good at this, so that was good. I went to sleep excited for the third day. On day three I decided to do the climbing since I'm very bad at that. I was nervous so of course my hands were sweating, which is bad for climbing. When it was my turn to climb I calmed down a little but when I saw Leo walking toward me I started blushing. Oh no! I thought as I missed and fell. I closed my eyes waiting for my butt to hit the floor and the snickers of the other tributes but instead I was in his arms. Before I even knew it I was kissing him, it was amazing! He seemed embarrassed but I knew I had to do that before I died.

Private Session
I was last for Private Training because I'm District 12. They called my name and I walked to the private room. I walked swiftly to the plants section and did the sorting very fast. They seemed impressed. I then threw knives and only missed two times, but it was okay. I then shot an arrow and it was like an inch away from the bullseye. I was then e excused.
